1. I joined RCHS, because I knew it would help me to get their college faster by having two years done by the age of 18. I also joined for the freedom that regular high schools do not offer. I feel like we are treated differently than other high schools, but in a positive way which changes us by maturing faster and becoming more responsible.

2. I enjoy playing various sports whether it is basketball, football, or even just running.

3. I am planning to go to dental school after finishing my bachelors degree.

4. I committed to being a dentist because I went to India and saw the horrible conditions of people and how they can not even afford to clean their teeth and I would love to get the chance to do field in a poor country.

5. I am a mentor, I take part in my church's basketball team, and also the treasurer of a local Richland club called Amra. Being a mentor, means I dedicated many hours of my life to help prepare and comfort the incoming juniors who we were expecting to come. We organized Duck Camp (orientation) and are still here for them answering their daily wonders and questions they might have.

6. I volunteered at the Dallas Arboretum last semester and it was an amazing experience. Volunteering there helped me work on my social skill by talking to different people from various backgrounds. I learned to not be shy and timid and to be bold and confident when I speak.

7. What is special about is that I am proud to be an Indian and have an gripping past and history of my country. Being from Indian it gives it the opportunity to look at obstacles in two different perspectives and how each culture might react to something. It helps with decision making and problem solving.

  1. What about being an Indian growing up in America give you a unique perspective? Specifically, what did your learn from volunteering at the Arboretum?

What does it mean to be a mentor? Good variety of experiences beyond school.

Interesting about why you decided to work as a Dentist. Also that you desired freedom here at RCHS - what about it is freeing? Are you treated differently, or do you feel different- behave different?
